Reliable Child Care Made Fun!
Teddy’s Place Child Care has been providing early childhood education services to families in the Sun Prairie, WI, area for over 35 years. While we initially started as a preschool program, we have since expanded to offer much more. Check out our programs below, and if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, don’t hesitate to give us a ring!
Infant & Toddler (0 - 2)
● Quiet nap room
● Accommodations for nursing mothers
● Small and large motor skill development
● Language skills
● Social and emotional skills
We offer breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks. We say grace before every meal, and although children are not required to join in, we like them to know that being grateful is an important part of so many of our family’s lives.
Every child is encouraged to be a helper in our morning routine as we learn about the calendar, the weather, the Pledge of Allegiance, and any holidays that we’re celebrating. We also learn how our feelings and emotions affect our day.
While we love to be active inside, dancing, playing, and jumping, we take every chance we get to explore the outdoors. We love to be outside on our newly remodeled playground several times a day, all year round. Bring your boots and snow pants in the winter and swimming suits in the summer!
Teddy’s Place also likes to be active in our community! Several times a year, we take the preschool-age kids to a local retirement village to spend time with the “adopted grandparents.”
Other activities include:
● Songs and stories
● Large motor skills
● Rest time
● Field trips
● Art exploration
● Small manipulative skills
● Communication skills
● How to work cooperatively with peers
● How to follow directions
● Pre-reading, writing, & math readiness skills
● Small and large motor skills
● Social skills
● And more!
We have partnered with the Sun Prairie Area School District to provide this community-based kindergarten program.
